California's RBDMS 3.0 WellSTAR Release 4 Goes Live

The fourth release of California’s RBDMS 3.0 upgrade (WellSTAR - Well Statewide Tracking and Reporting) went live on April 30, 2019. This release added functionality to WellSTAR in the following areas: well stimulation, gas storage and EPA reporting. North Dakota Becomes Second State to Implement RBDMS 3.0

In early October the North Dakota Industrial Commission (NDIC) Oil and Gas Division officially kicked off the project to upgrade from RBDMS Classic to RBDMS 3.0. The NDIC will be the second agency to implement RBDMS 3.0 behind the California Department of Conservation Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR). RBDMS Directional Survey Import Tool Released

RBDMS Directional Survey Import Tool Released

The Ground Water Protection Council (GWPC) recently released a new tool that will allow state agency users to collect and store survey data from horizontally and directionally drilled wells and view that data in two or three dimensions with third-party applications. This will facilitate faster and more accurate analysis of proposed drilling, injection, and hydraulic fracturing activities. Read More
